Ship’s holds Hatches water-tightness surveys
Ship’s holds/ Hatches water-tightness is to check the condition of related structures in the ship's hatch such as ship's hull, hatch cover, hatch-coaming plate, manhole lid, tank-top plate, tank-side plate, the watertight door at mast house/ deckhouse, ventilation pipes, ventilation, crane piler ... to detect damage, leakage which would not ensure water tightness for ships.
When conducting an Ultrasonic hatch tightness survey, [Nopico] surveyors will perform the following tasks:
- Check some relevant certificates.
- Check the condition of the ship's hatch: Record all defects and places of the defects.
- Test hatch tightness by the fire pump system.
- Check water tightness with method of method of Ultra-sonic test, hose test, chalk test, etc.,
- On completion of the site survey, [Nopico] will issue the report for the customer.
